Second Week Update
Well yesterday evening marked Sydney’s second week of life and she’s doing wonderful! On Sunday her umbilical cord stump fell off by itself just before we took her on her first outing! We all went over to Jim and Judi’s house for dinner and to celebrate a couple birthdays in the Schoen family. We all had a great time and Sydney enjoyed her trip. Tomorrow Sydney gets her two week checkup at the pediatrician’s office and we’ll post her weight so y’all can see how she’s doing. My mom went home on Monday evening and I’m back at work so today was Andrea’s first day home alone with the baby and she did great.

I love the pictures. Thanks for the hard copies, I have already put them in my ‘Grandma’s Show and Tell’ book. It fits perfectly in my purse :-).
Little Sydney is just the sweetest and I miss holding her.
Andrea, you look great and I know you will be a wonderful Mom to Sydney and watching you Nathan being such a sweet Daddy just makes me so proud of you.
