…And I haven’t posted anything! Well, I’ve uploaded several new pictures to the gallery but never got around to posting about them here. The past couple weeks were fairly uneventful. Andrea and I did rearrange the house a little bit, we moved the computer, desk and big screen television down from the bonus room to the first floor. It’s nice to not have to run up and down the stairs so much! The bonus room is turning into a craft room for Andrea and a photo studio for me.
Anyway, there are two new gallery sections, one for November pictures and another for Sydney’s Thanksgiving portraits. Click on one of the pictures to go to the respective gallery.
I’ve uploaded the first high definition video of Sydney crawling. The video was taken on Halloween (she’s still in her costume) after we got back from taking her to the mall. The Stone’s River mall near our house has a Halloween event every year where kids can trick-or-treat at all the stores in the mall. Of course we didn’t get any candy this year (since Andrea and I would be the ones eating it all) it was kinda cool to just walk around and see all the cute little kids. Anyway, here’s the video.
Sydney Andrea and I have spent the past week and a half with colds & sinus “stuff.” It’s the first time Sydney’s been sick at all and she handled it quite well. Her poor nose ran like a faucet for a while and she had a cute little cough! Anyway her is a new short video of Sydney eating her first bit of meat (Turkey). Pretty soon we’ll stop forcing you to watch these (I promise).
Andrea, Sydney and I had some more picture fun today taking some fall shots of Syndey including a couple in her Halloween costume! Here are a few samples, click either one to see them all!
On Wednesday, October 8th, 2008, Sydney crawled for the first time! It was right after I came home from work, I picked her up and took her into our bedroom and set her on our bed… and she promptly crawled a good 3 feet like she’d done it a hundred times before! For the past month or two she’s been getting on all fours, sitting up but hadn’t quite managed to crawl (just sorta rocked back and forth) until this week! Well, she crawls quite a bit now but we’re having a hard time catching it on tape. So, we’ll share a couple videos of her ‘kinda’ crawling to hold y’all over until we hit the jackpot! Enjoy!
Well, being from Michigan, Andrea and I are used to cold weather, falling leaves and apple cider when we think about October, picking pumpkins or hay rides. Well, we took Sydney today to a local farm to get some pictures and pick up a few pumpkins to decorate. It was hot - 87 degrees hot but a beautiful evening to say the least. We took her through a corn maze (which took over an hour to navigate) and had a great time. Took a few pictures, more of which you can see by clicking on the pictures below.
Sydney tries out her second to last vegetable! I don’t think there was any she hasn’t liked so far, very exciting! Before she moves on to fruits, she must first master carrots!
