I’ve been wanting to create a home stuido for a long time. Well I finally did it! We’ve turned the bonus room upstairs into a studio / hobby room for Andrea and I to practice our “crafts.” These shots were the first taken in the new studio (read: I was practicing).

I have no excuse. It has been far to long since I’ve udpated the blog let alone edited recent pictures… Well this weekend I’m playing catch up. This post and the associated pictures are from Thanksgiving 2008 in Michgian. We had a great time with both families and really appreciate the fact that the Housley family held a separate Thanksgiving dinner the following Saturday. I know it was a lot of extra work but we ceratinly appreciated it!
Here are some pictures from our time in Michigan. Click on the image below to see ‘em all.

I don’t normally get political on our blog but I feel the need to ask you to consider and ask your congressional delegation to support H.R. 7309 introduced by Rep. Louis Gohmert of Texas. This bill aims to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to suspend employment and income taxes for the first two months of 2009. This bill would put economic stimulus back into the hands of each and every consumer, keeping people employed and allowing them to spend or save their own money which in turn would have an immediate positive impact on our economy. This bill would keep Washington from squandering the remaining $350 billion of the $700 billion financial bailout earlier this year.
Please write you senators and representative to support this bill!

I was a little bored today so I created a video collage of our favorite pictures from September – November 2008. Check it out!

This past weekend Rich, Kathy, Tori and Lexi visited us on their way to Florida to spend the week with Rich’s grandparents. Sydney got to play with a few older friends and Andrea and I got to play with some of our friends too! Thanks for coming to visit guys, we had a blast!

…And I haven’t posted anything! Well, I’ve uploaded several new pictures to the gallery but never got around to posting about them here. The past couple weeks were fairly uneventful. Andrea and I did rearrange the house a little bit, we moved the computer, desk and big screen television down from the bonus room to the first floor. It’s nice to not have to run up and down the stairs so much! The bonus room is turning into a craft room for Andrea and a photo studio for me.
Anyway, there are two new gallery sections, one for November pictures and another for Sydney’s Thanksgiving portraits. Click on one of the pictures to go to the respective gallery.

Here’s another few minutes of Sydney crawling around the house and getting into mischief. This is a lot of fun!

I’ve uploaded the first high definition video of Sydney crawling. The video was taken on Halloween (she’s still in her costume) after we got back from taking her to the mall. The Stone’s River mall near our house has a Halloween event every year where kids can trick-or-treat at all the stores in the mall. Of course we didn’t get any candy this year (since Andrea and I would be the ones eating it all) it was kinda cool to just walk around and see all the cute little kids. Anyway, here’s the video.

Sydney Andrea and I have spent the past week and a half with colds & sinus “stuff.” It’s the first time Sydney’s been sick at all and she handled it quite well. Her poor nose ran like a faucet for a while and she had a cute little cough! Anyway her is a new short video of Sydney eating her first bit of meat (Turkey). Pretty soon we’ll stop forcing you to watch these (I promise).

And I’ve added a couple more pictures from October including one of little miss snot nose.
