I love vacations, it’s just not very often that we get to go on a “real” one! Well over labor day weekend earlier this month we over compensated by taking a great 5 day vacation in North Western Wyoming – Jackson Hole to be exact. Except for the long drives between, well between just about everywhere; and the two flights to and from Tennessee, we had a great time! One thing for sure, an 18 month old sitting on your lap for four two hour flights is not something I recommend you do very often!

Thanks to both families for hosting Andrea, Sydney and I for much of December. An eventful month to say the least and everyone made us as comfortable as possible. Thanks again!!! I have no excuse. It has been far to long since I’ve udpated the blog let alone edited recent pictures… Well this weekend I’m playing catch up. This post and the associated pictures are from Thanksgiving 2008 in Michgian. We had a great time with both families and really appreciate the fact that the Housley family held a separate Thanksgiving dinner the following Saturday. I know it was a lot of extra work but we ceratinly appreciated it!

I know, I know, it’s been a long time since we’ve posted anything. Well this weekend we’ve made a bunch of updates to the site. Lots of new pictures, several new videos and other such stuff. Sydney is now less than two weeks shy of 7 months old! Her two front (lower) teeth have come in, she sits up on her own for long periods of time and she’s probably just a couple short weeks (maybe even less) away from crawling! It’s amazing how fast things change and how fast she’s growing up.
On top of all of that, a couple weeks ago she took her first airpane ride to Michigan for Labor Day with the families. I was worried she would be uncomfortable with ear popping but on both flights she was just perfect. We are certainly blessed with a perfect little angel!

As most of you know, Sydney, Andrea, Zoe and I all drove to Michigan and spent July 2nd – July 12′th with family and friends. For the fourth of July holiday we spent several days at Buddy’s Bunker up in Port Hope MI and had a great time with Andrea’s family. We then spent the remainder of our time with my family giving Sydney the opportunity to get to know her great grandma (who celebrated her 91st birthday on 7/7) and her Aunt Thelma and Uncle Keith and their family. All in all we had a great time and want to thank everyone for their hospitality. A whole schwack of pictures have been uploaded to the gallery and can be seen by clicking on any of these example pictures.

Most of you know that Andrea, Syndey and I spent nearly two weeks in Michigan (in fact, we’re still here at my parents house in Canton for the next 12 hours or so)… Anyway, I just had to share this video with all you before we get home and make additional updates with pictures.

Back in July I traveled to Paris on business and while I was there I had a whole day to act like a tourist between endless hours of meetings for work. I remember little of the meetings (other than my frustration) but I will never forget the wonderful sights Paris has to offer! Here are a few pictures I took while there.
